| I graduated with honors from the University of British Columbia in 2008 with a Bachelor's of Commerce degree specializing in finance. My studies concentrated on quantitative analysis, accounting, and financial engineering. After university, I worked as a analyst of financial derivatives providing independent valuation services for OTC Valuations. Derivatives were perhaps not the catalyst, but certainly a pivotal instrument of mass destruction in the recent economic recession.
We just witnessed a historic chapter where private financial institutions were collectively deemed "too big to fail" and the implementation of the implicit "federal put" where the central goverment bailed out the private sector to the tune of a couple trillion dollars.
In the past, I was an active professional skier having competed in competitions such as the World Skiing Invitational and the Asian Winter Games. During the summer, I performed ski, snowboard, and trampoline shows with several companies including Upside-Down and Max Air. The recent economic recession was so so bad that I was laid of from my post at OTC ("It's a recession when your neighbour losses their job, it's a depression when you lose yours") and I currently am developing AcroBag as a training platform for acrobatic athletes.
