Winning at Winter - Shredding Whistler 2009 to 2010

December 5th 2010
Despite the global publicity of the dearth of snow on Olympic venues, many people would be surprised to learn that 2009-2010 was in fact the second snowiest year on record in Whistler. Despite having to helicopter in snow to Cypress in preparation for the Winter Olympics, us shredders were wallowing in snow.

Getting out on the snowmobile in epic conditions is the best. There are few things that compare to a limitless backcountry of possibilities, a blue sky of sun, and a gang of buddies ready to tear up the slopes. It really is a version of paradise on earth. Just winter edition.

Our crew killed it last winter. Shredding zones like Brandywine, Miller Ridge, Sproatt, Triconi, Seagrams, Rutherford, Cougar, etc etc. WIth our gang of Graham Camm, Keving Johnson, Graham Haywood, James Hillier, Cam Unger, Jon Cole, and others, we set a new standard for winter awesomeness that is going to be tough to exceed in upcoming years.

Check out this great video that Graham Camm edited from last year. it crystallizes the sheer awesomness of living out in the mountainous ranges of British Columbia.
