The Burrard Aquatic Center is my preferred place to jump indoors during the winter (the UBC pool is much better when its warm out in the summer). This facility has a 1m and 3m springboards and 5m, 7m, and 10m diving platforms. The life guards here are a bit over cautious and they get scared easily. I don't like many of the rules at this facility either. The hot tub isn't very nice either. Does have a sauna, but no steam room. Admission is just under $6 and there is a weight room too. If you are a male, after you pay, make sure not to use the change room at the bottom of the stairs, and instead walk down the halway to the NICE men's change room. The first one is small and whack. |
