Logger's Lake currently has three rope swings of varying sizes and two jumping platforms out of trees. It is a great place to swim and fish, just a great zone in general. To get here drive along the Cheakamus Forest Service road out of Function Junction and drive along the gravel road following the signs for Loggers Lake. There is a small parking lot at the road gate for the lake. Park here and its a short 350 meter walk to the lake. The baby rope swing is on the left side of the lake. The big rope the big tree drop are the first zone on the right. Further up along the right side is another tree drop and medium rope swing. The water here is amazing and its a short swim to cross the lake or to get to any of the other swings. Lots of bugs however, but it makes for great fishing. All sorts of trout to be had here. Big shouts out to the Troutsmen club for building the new rope swing takeoff platform too. Josh Stack and Brandon Kelly can be credited for the big tree drop too. |
