This is one of my favorite places to camp. I just love the freedom here. It`s a drive in drive out sandy beach on the shore of the beautiful and vast Kennedy lake. There are plenty of fish in here too. Its a place where you can camp totally free and still be within a 20 minute drive to many of the surfing beaches Tofino and Ucluelet have to offer. There is always a party here and if anyone tells you to be quiet, you tell them they came to the wrong beach (seriously, Rainbow beach is just around the corner and where the quiet types go camp). There are a bunch of bridges to jump off here at a friendly height. This place is just awesome. The logging road access is pretty good too, well graded and can be driven quite fast. Too fast sometimes and you often see cars in the ditch. I do love to rally race this road. My car has certainly suffered some abuse because of it.
